Must Have Skin Care Products: 5 Items You Need

All Posts, Beauty Hacks, Skin Care 101 October 25

Like any skin care addict, I stow more than a few products in my handbag on a day-to-day basis. If you looked in there right now, you’d find a face cream, a lip balm, and a half dozen tubes of liquid lipstick. What can I say? I like to be prepared! When you’re out and about, you never know where life will take you, but no matter where you are, healthy skin is always a necessity. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite must have skin care products that’ll help you live your healthiest life on the go. If you don’t carry a handbag, don’t fret! Just stash these items in your car or desk at work.

Hand Lotion

How many times do you wash your hands while you’re out and about? Several, right? Washing your hands frequently dries them out, leaving you with cracked, irritated skin. Spare yourself the discomfort by carrying your favorite hand lotion in your bag. We like Sebamed’s Hand and Nail Balm. It’s tiny enough to fit in your purse or glove box, but tough on dry skin.

Blotting Papers

This is one of those skin care handbag essentials that’s an absolute must for those of us with oily skin. I know I feel pretty oily at some points throughout the day. We recommend having some blotting papers on hand in case you need to pat down your T-zone or chin. Our pick? Neutrogena Shine Control Blotting Sheets. They keep your skin feeling fresh without taking up a ton of room in your bag.

Deodorant

If you’re out and about during the day, chances are you tend to sweat a bit. Sometimes, that sweat can translate to body odor, so we suggest keeping a small stick of deodorant in your bag to quickly freshen up. We like Sebamed’s Deodorant Balsam Sensitive because it’s alcohol-free and perfect for sensitive skin. B.O., begone!

Facial Moisturizer

With the colder months approaching, your skin care routine changes, as should your skin care handbag essentials. During the summer, dry skin on your face might not have been an issue. But, some of us are more prone to dry skin in the fall and winter, so stowing a small bottle of face cream in your handbag or glove box isn’t a bad idea. Our favorite is Aveeno’s Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer. It contains SPF, which is always a must, and it works hard to combat dry skin.

Lip Balm

Chapped lips can be uncomfortable and frustrating, especially when you’re putting on your favorite lipstick. Applying a lip balm throughout the day keeps your lips smooth and soft. We recommend Sebamed’s Lip Defense, which contains SPF and helps your chapped lips heal quickly.

Whether you’re always on the go or prefer to stay at home, caring for your skin is an absolute must. Sebamed provides you with easy solutions for healthy skin. Check out our full range here.
